Borris is a lovely and lively young female (approximately 2 yrs old (2/13)). She has become accustomed to a lot of supervised freedom and not being confined to a cage. She has an x-pen that is open any time that humans are home, except when they are asleep. She likes to race back-and-forth doing binkies and sit quietly on the couch next to her friends. She also likes to dig in her blankets and run through cardboard tunnels. Borris would probably do best in a quiet environment that includes lots of social interaction and play-time.
Though she was shy at first, Borris has shown herself to be very friendly and has been getting along well with the cat at the house (approx 8 year old male). She doesn’t seem to like to be picked up but enjoys being petted and nuzzled. Offering her red clover is good way to try to start up a friendship with her. 🙂
She is not thrilled about car rides but promises to put up with one if you drive her to a wonderful forever home! She has enjoyed being doted on at her foster home and hopes someone out there may want to adopt her to continue the doting.
Borris was spayed August 2012, does well with using her litter box, and is ready to find a place to call home forever. If you think you may be that home please fill out the pre-adoption application and send a message to her contact person.
