Sweet little Mac was found, along with his brother, in July 2014 running loose in bushes near a road in a very busy resort area. (They may have been abandoned only about 24 hours earlier because they seemed used to human contact, as they were easy to pick up and transport to safety.) Mac was likely born early in the spring of 2014, making him about 5 or 6 months old when rescued. He loves to run, jump, binky, do lightning-fast 180-degree turns and get into mischief, like the young boy that he is. He is a ton of fun! He weighs about 4 pounds, is long and lean and has the softest fur imaginable! Since he is so young, he may yet grow bigger.
He has been neutered and is a healthy and rambunctious guy who would love a home of his own with lots of play space, and fun toys to chew and toss. He loves anything to play with: cardboard boxes, empty cereal packages, cardboard tubes stuffed with hay and other bunny safe toys. He enjoys moving his litter boxes around and then flopping in the new space he has created. He also loves his healthy bunny diet of pellets and hay with an occasional small treat and moved easily from outdoors to a safe and cozy indoor life. He is still fine tuning his litter box habits, but is well on the way to using his box consistently.
You really have to see him in person to appreciate what a silly, entertaining bunny he is! It would be wonderful to find his forever home while he is still young and can more easily transition to his new home, and his new family can enjoy his youthful antics. To meet him, submit an adoption form and then you can come experience the Mac magic. Indoor home only.
