Meredith (was Mocha) found an excellent home with a couple who are very experienced with T-Touch and with a wide variety of animals. She is best friends with a guinea pig named Ramon, who fell head-over-heels immediately!
Mocha is a very special girl who needs a very special home. She can only see some lights and shadows in one eye, and recently lost the sight in her other eye. She is a lovely natured black lionhead mix; age unknown, but is at least four or five years old. Mocha loves to be held. But she seems down hearted sometimes as you might expect. For her to lead a happy live, her foster mom believes she needs a household that can provide stimulation in the form of speaking to her, petting and holding her, and allowing her to hear the sounds of a happy household. A rabbit buddy to bond with could be an excellent situation as well.
In 2009, Mocha approached an employee at a local nature center. The man knew that she must have been dumped and for a while she lived at the nature center with some kind folks there. Some of you may remember meeting Mocha there. We don’t know what went on in the time between her living at the Nature Center and her last home where she lived an apparantly happy life with a family with children until she went blind.
We believe she can once again become the happy rabbit she once was. Those of you who have had blind animals in your household know that they still have the potential for a good life, especially if they are provided the opportunities.
