Rabbit Advocates is partnering with Oregon veterinary professionals to host RHDV2 drive-thru vaccine events for Oregon residents in Spring 2023. We will be using the USA-made Medgene vaccine which requires a 2-dose regime to fully protect a rabbit. No dates are confirmed for Washington residents yet.

Dates: Saturday, April 15, 2023 (dose 1) and Saturday and Saturday May 6, 2023 (dose 2)

Location: Harvest Community Church of Hillsboro (parking lot), 8215 NE Quatama St., Hillsboro OR 97006

Time: By appointment only 11am - 4pm

Total Vaccine Cost for the 2-Dose Series: $50 per rabbit
Microchip Cost: $15 per rabbit, only if not chipped

Note: For bunnies who are never vaccinated or have only received the Filavac brand RHDV2 vaccine in the past, your appointment time will be the same for both the first dose on Saturday, 4/15/23 and the second dose on Saturday, 5/6/23. For bunnies who have received the full 2-dose regime of the Medgene brand RHDV2 vaccine over 9 months ago, we are still working out the details to see if we would be able to accommodate a one-dose booster shot.

Please consult with your veterinarian and visit the Medgene Labs website if you have questions about the vaccine. Rabbit Advocates is an all-volunteer-run organization without our own vet. The volunteers are not getting paid to plan and run these events which are a tremendous amount of work. But we are doing our best to be able to protect all of our foster bunnies before adoption and offer the vaccine at an affordable price to the local house bunny community. Your kindness and patience to our volunteers will be extremely appreciated.
